The Renfrew Center Foundation is dedicated to eliminating eating disorders by advancing education, prevention, advocacy, research and treatment. Our seminars are designed to help healthcare professionals develop skills in the prevention, assessment and treatment of behavioral and emotional disorders in women. Getting to the Heart of Eating Disorders: Using Mindfulness to Promote Emotional Awareness; This daylong workshop addresses how to use mindfulness in a way that is effective in clinical settings as well as in relationships. This seminar will initially focus on defining and discussing the benefits/limitations of mindfulness and help attendees learn to implement mindfulness into daily life and work. This will be followed by in-depth training on how the mindful experience of emotion can be a foundational tool in eating disorder recovery. Using real life examples from The Renfrew Center Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders®, participants will learn to empower themselves and clients to become mindfully aware of emotional experiences. This process lays the groundwork for the difficult, yet ultimately rewarding, journey towards full recovery. Austin, TX, on Friday, December 1, 2017. - Approximately 145 square feet (small, but fits full size furniture)
- Base rent: $785/month (includes weekly cleaning service and utilities)
- In addition I also chose to pay the landlord $35/month for internet and $45/month for a landline through their service provider (8x8). These fees are optional for those not interested in having a separate landline or who want to use another wifi service. I just write one check and all together it amounts to $865.
There is a lovely waiting room, conference room, kitchen, shared printer/copier/scanner/fax machine and restrooms in the suite. There are about 5 other clinicians in the suite and one aesthetician.
By the way the landlords are great! If you ever need a lightbulb changed, etc., they are very responsive.
I signed a 3-year lease that started on 11/1/2015 to October 31, 2018, so about another year and seven months remain on this lease, then you would of course have the option to renew.
Before this lease, I signed the first 3 year lease for the same office in November 2012, so I have been the only tenant since it was completely remodeled. Please let me know if you are interested in seeing it or would like more information. Call Ari at 512-587-6246
