    PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION

    There are specific problems and issues that come up in the counseling space with neurodivergent (ND) couples. This includes many different varieties of ND couples. The diverse range in ND couples can be especially challenging and overwhelming for therapists, especially without proper knowledge of neurodiversity and how it shows up in relationships. This presentation will go over how to identify neurodiversity in a couple, the most common relationship issues that occur, and how to tackle these in practical ways.

        Emily Pearce is a passionate LMFT-A specializing in neurodivergent couples, with a deep commitment to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by these relationships. Over the past two years, Emily has achieved remarkable success in helping neurodivergent couples and individuals navigate common relationship issues through the unique lens of neurodiversity. Drawing from a lifetime of being surrounded by neurodiverse circle and understanding her own neurodiverse brain, Emily integrates personal experiences with professional expertise to offer empathetic and effective counseling. Emily is dedicated to filling the growing need for specialized training, advocacy, and education in neurodiverse relational counseling.




        This presentation is designed to be useful for all levels of training and experience.
