    Presenter: Samantha Bray, LCSW & Nancy K. Brown, MAHS, LPC-S

    Samantha and Nancy will provide an overview of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, recognizing it in your clients, discuss common myths, provide current evidenced-based treatment options available, and discuss the role of the family in treatment.


    Learning Objectives: 

    Learn how to identify OCD

    Be able to define and identify obsessions and compulsion 

    Learn common and not so common OCD themes so you may recognize them in your clients

    Discuss common myths and debunk them

    Provide general overview of the current evidenced-based treatment options available and resources for your clients

    Discuss the various roles of families and partners of individuals diagnosed with OCD

    Both Samantha and Nancy have been trained in OCD treatment through the International OCD Foundation's Behavioral Therapy Training Institute.
